Camping

We planned a last family trip before school started to the Koa campground in Astroia, Oregon. We arrived at Koa campground and set up our gear.  Our cabin was in a really quite, shaded cove.  Aaron went into the one room cabin and said, "Is this it?" He's used to a little larger accommodations:)

Aaron stayed and played with his buddy Olivia while I ran 6 miles around Ft Stevens and Dave biked.  Coffenberry lake was very foggy and misty the first afternoon.

Aaron used our new camp stove to make us breakfast one morning.

Our friends, Patrick and Stacey had quite the cooking set up so we ate with them each night.

Dave took the kids fishing the next day while I ran around the lake

Then we went on a big bike ride to the wreck of Peter Iredale and Battery Russell

The kids had fun with the swim pool, giant chess game, crafts, and giant trampoline. We rented this fun car to bike around the campground on. They flew down the hills.

The big fort and beach time on day 3.

We couldn't have asked for better weather.  It was a beautiful camping/glamping trip.
