A letter to my boy-age 7

Darling Aaron,
I can't believe you are 7.  You are so tall-4 feet 2 inches now. That's just a foot shorter than me.  I bet by this time next year you'll be taller than me.  You crack your Dad and I up all the time with your crazy energy, dances and funny things you say.  We love you dearly and can't wait to spend year 7 with you.  You will love spending Valentines day in Maui with the family.  We took you every year until you were three but you were young and now you can really snorkel and play in those waves.  Here's some of your highlights of this past year:

You started your year turning 6 and had a magic party at the mountain with the family and your friend Izzy.  You got a snowboard and lessons.  You also got a Kindle Tablet, which you loved.

You completed your Gymnastics Season :

We had a great spring break weekend with friends up at the mountain where you tried snowboarding on your new board.

Cinco De Mayo fun

We went to Arizona to see your brother graduate from high school.

Plus we got some time with Austin up here over the summer.

We went camping.

And went to the pool with friends throughout the summer.

You and your friends made a snow cone stand and sold the cones this summer.

You are learning to read so well.  Here you are reading to Shelly at her baby shower-The Little Hungry Caterpillar.

You got to go to a basketball camp with the Blazers.  You also were involved in football in the spring and fall.

You got your blue and red belt in Taekwondo this year and continue to work on your sparring.   Way to go Aaron!

You trick or treated with neighbor Avery and you were Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy
