March Highlights

I finally got my mileage up and was able to complete three long-10 plus mile runs. I'm getting in thirty five miles a week again too which feels good.

We got to the mountain a couple times to snowboard.

I read these books

We saw these movies:

I had a great time at the Shamrock run with friends.  The 15 k runners got this cool metal that was also a bottle opener.  The shirt this year was great too.

I got to see these restaurants:

Zell's again-this time for their huevos rancheros. Last time I got the pancakes though and they were so good.

Detour Cafe

Cafe Nell had a great fireplace but the cob salad was too salty for my taste.

I loved my wine and chocolate cake at Bread and Ink Cafe.

Olympic Provisions

Daily in the Pearl-great pancakes

Zeus Cafe-basic breakfast here

Sweetest Thing Cupcakes

Brix Tavern-They have a great lunch Blue Plate Specila for $6-I got a noodle dish that was great!

Bluehour-great crab sandwich

The Matador-my dish was super spicy. I will have to get the mild next time.

Nell Centro-definitely coming back here this summer to sit on the patio by the fire pits. I got the Pappardelle with Wild Boar Ragu

Paley's Place-Bistro and Bar -I've been wanting to go both here and Le Pigeon all year so it was fun to cross one of the list.

Beesaw's-Perfect for after a race downtown-I had the breakfast burrito which was good.

Petisco-amazing crab risotto

Higgins-I got this:
Cotriade – Breton fisherman’s stew of oysters, clams, spot prawns, salmon

and halibut in a saffron-vegetable broth $18.50

The Good Earth Cafe-Not one of my favorites-good fluffy pancakes though.

And the best biscuits in Portland at Accanto

We had a great time with family on Easter.  It was wonderful to attend church together and celebrate my sister's birthday the night before.  We're looking forward to April and more snowboarding, watching Aaron's football and soccer games and getting our mud pit of a yard ready for summer.
